DescriptionJob SummaryWe are looking for a Production operator for
our manufacturing site in Middleburgh, NY, with a strong work ethic
and great attitude to work in a clean and safe team
environment.Roles & Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all cGMP
(current Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPs (Standard Operating
Procedures), and regulatory requirements, including federal and
state regulations, to maintain high-quality standards in production
operations.
- You will monitor, operate, load, and unload operations
equipment as directed, ensuring proper functioning and safety
protocols are always followed.
- You will be responsible for cleaning operations equipment as
necessary to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards,
contributing to product quality and safety.
- You will be responsible for signing operations documentation,
including batch records, equipment logs, and other relevant
paperwork, accurately and timely to maintain proper records and
traceability.
- You will demonstrate the ability to read, understand, and
interpret the production schedule to ensure timely execution of
production activities and meet production targets.
- You will be responsible for offering continuous improvement
suggestions to enhance overall departmental efficiency,
productivity, and quality standards, actively contributing to
process optimization and operational excellence.
- You will perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Lead or
Coordinator, contributing to the overall success and smooth
operation of the production department.QualificationsEducational
qualification: High School Diploma or GraduateMinimum work
experience: 2 years of operator experience in a similar GMP
pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environmentSkills &
attributes:
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and GMP requirements
preferred.
- Ability to read and understand production schedule and
instructions.
- Ability of handling and/or moving of 200+ lb. containers using
cranes.
- Experience in maintaining a safe work environment and following
safety management systems.
- Comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
including Respirators and masks.
- Ability of frequent and repetitive bending, stretching,
stooping, scooping and circular arm and hand motions.
- Good attendance history.
- Good math skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to cross train as needed.
- Flexibility to work weekends, days, evenings, and nights as
necessary.*Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of
U.S. or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring
sponsorship now or in the future.Pay rate: $22 - $24 per
