independently performing test work during highly complex audit
activities for Lines of Business (LOBs). Key responsibilities
include independently designing and executing audit tests,
assessing issues for business impact and recommending severity
ratings, and establishing business partner relationships. Job
expectations include evaluating the control environment, fostering
an inclusive work environment, applying product, business, and
technical expertise, and supporting team members with
development.This role is for the Global Corporate and Investment
Banking audit team. We cover audits for businesses such as equity
capital markets, debt capital markets, investment banking,
corporate banking coverage and leasing. The team is also
responsible for credit risk management and global payment services
audits in EMEA.The candidate will be working with the team based in
EMEA and APAC and most of our audits are global. An Audit
Supervisor is expected to work with the assigned area independently
and may lead small audits.Responsibilities:
- Executes audit strategy for the sound application of risk-based
auditing by defining audit scope and audit programs, and leverages
automation and innovative methods in a timely and high quality
manner
- Exercises sound knowledge of product, business, and technical
expertise to effectively challenge management to improve the
control environment
- Assesses impacts to business processes, controls, and
strategies to provide recommendations on severity ratings
- Provides input on draft audit reports and shares audit results
with business leaders
- Supports the development of peers and teams through
on-the-job-training and fosters an inclusive work environment
- Establishes business partner relationships, primarily with line
management, to develop business knowledge
- Uses innovative tools to complete audit activities more
efficiently (e.g., testing)
- Support multiple projects using technology and analytic
techniques to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced
environment. Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years of internal audit or front office business
control or compliance or risk management experience covering the
corporate and investment banking (GCIB) business (e.g. equity
capital markets, debt capital markets, investment banking,
corporate banking, leasing etc)
- Minimum 2 years of experience auditing the Investment Banking
Business within an organization (GCIB)
- Experience with risk and control identification and
assessment
- Experience with stakeholder management
- Pro-active, positive attitude, exhibits sense of ownership,
flexibility and intellectual curiosity
- Sound organizational, analytical, oral, and written
communication skills
- Bachelor's degreeDesired Qualifications:
- Experience with coaching less experienced team members
- Experience of working in a large global bank
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountants
(CPA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Certified Internal Auditor

offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill
